I design and build cloud platforms on AWS and Azure that are secure by default and dull to run. In my line of work, dull is the compliment.
I learned cloud by fixing it first.

My first cloud job, back in 2018, was on an Azure support desk. It is an underrated place to start. For three and a half years I triaged incidents, wrote root-cause reports and ran restore tests, and I learned that most outages are not clever. They are an alert nobody tuned, a permission nobody reviewed, or a change that went out with no way back.

The tools I reach for
Day to day that means AWS and Azure, Terraform and Ansible, Kubernetes and the pipelines that feed it. Almost all of it comes straight from my day job. Google Cloud is the newest addition, picked up through multi-cloud data work.

Platform work, told plainly.
Most of what I build sits behind client agreements, so the names stay out. The problems, the decisions and the results are real.

A role to fill, or a platform to fix?
Either way, a short email is the best place to start. Tell me what you are working on and I will reply with honest first thoughts.
